RE: "Defining the “New Normal” in Primary Care

My congratulations to Kellia Hansmann and Tammy Chang for calling out an opportunity to re-envision the future of primary care leveraging the lessons learned during COVID to accelerate transformation. I would underscore the critical importance of assuring a reimbursement model that stabilizes primary care while improving patient access and enabling strategies that lower total cost of care. By moving away from fee for service and enabling primary care based groups to assume financial risk (e.g. capitation), there will be creative opportunities to help address health inequities and close the digital divide. Policy makers take notice!
