The Annals of Family Medicine welcome contributions from a wide range of individuals and groups. This includes (but is not limited to) the general public, clinicians, and policy makers. We value and encourage diverse opinions and perspectives.
The editors evaluate each eLetter. We reserve the right to reject comments that:
- Disparage or defame
- Are not coherent
- Raise confidentiality issues (e.g., protected health information)
- Endorse or attempt to market a commercial product
- Do not further the online dialogue
- Do not reflect our commitment to mutual respect
In general, we expect that writers of eLetters will identify themselves. The editors will consider requests for anonymity if specific justification is provided.
The editors may offer writers of eLetters the opportunity to revise their comments prior to posting.
