Interesting work.

1 Long ago I was told that the patient needs to be able to make sense of his/her diagnosis. It has proven a useful pearl.

2 I think this work aligns with John Wasson's work around confidence. See HowsYourHealth.org a tool I have used for some time.

3 Primary care is slow medicine. Human nature is unchanged. We must remember the basic principles despite being rushed to check boxes and do prior auths and submit metrics and deal with bureaucratic intrusions that are killing us- but the work remains the same.
