The Annals of Family Medicine is looking to expand our pool of Associate Editors. As Associate Editor for the top-ranked primary care research journal, you will work with the Editor and other Associate Editors to evaluate original research articles for scientific rigor, direct the peer review process, and help decide what gets published.
Responsibilities
- Biweekly or monthly editorial team calls (1 hr)
- Annual Editorial Advisory Board meeting at NAPCRG (2 hrs)
- Approximately 2-3 article evaluations per month
Required Qualifications
- Terminal medical degree or PhD in related discipline
- Thoughtful reader, scholar
- Methodological expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- Scholarly interest in obstetrics, maternal health, geriatrics, and/or AI
- Methodological expertise in quantitative methods and/or mixed methods
- Previous editorial experience
This is a paid contract position.
