  • The Article in Brief

There is growing interest in the connection between religion, spirituality, and health. A tool for measuring the effect of spirituality on a patients well-being has been developed. It may be especially useful in studying quality of life related to health in patients with chronic illness, older people, and those needing end-of-life care.
