STFM is pleased to announce the launch of the revamped Residency Faculty Fundamentals Certificate Program. This online, self-directed program provides foundational training for residency faculty with 14 courses and assignments on key topics. With input from the STFM GME Committee and staff, the entire certificate program was updated from the ground up with:

  • More than 20+ new videos by experienced faculty

  • Updated content in nearly all courses with significant content added to Residency Recruiting & Interviewing, Giving Feedback, Classroom Teaching Skills, Structure & Funding of Residency Programs, and Scholarly Activity

  • A DEIA lens applied throughout the content to ensure greater inclusivity

  • Greatly enhanced module functionality & accessibility

All current learners in the program received access to this updated & enhanced version at no additional cost. We’re glad to continue offering this popular program to the STFM membership while enhancing the content to stay current on residency education.
