Abstract
Context: The annual NAPCRG Practice Based Research Network (PBRN) Conference highlights important innovations occurring within many primary care networks. These conference presentations are peer reviewed by a highly experienced group of clinician-scientists and primary care researchers.
Objective: The CASFM PBRN committee session will highlight the top 5 ranked presentations from the annual NAPCRG PBRN conference which occurs in June 2023. Primary presenters (or a research team member) will be invited to prepare a summary of their prior presentation with any relevant updates. Additionally, there will be a 10-15 minute facilitated question and answer period for audience members to discuss the research findings with the presenters.
Study Design: The following describes the top 5 ranked presentations that will be presented at this session. If any presenters cannot attend or have a team member present, we will decrease the number of presentations or at most select from the top 10 presentations to obtain a number of 3-5 presentations.
Understanding racial/ethnic inequalities in perinatal care from the perspective of Black mothers and community stakeholders
Telehealth critical for access to primary care, but only with adequate payment
Assessing scalability of health and social care innovations using the Innovation Scalability Selfadministered Questionnaire
The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on primary care visits for respiratory illness: a multinational study by INTRePID
Primary Care Shortage More Dire than Prior Estimates: Comparing Real Panel Size to Estimated Panel Size
Population Studied/Methods/Results: Each presenter will describe the relevant components of their study.
Conclusions: Highlighting the excellent work being conducted in primary care PBRNs will highlight this important infrastructure for our discipline.
