    This issue's "Reflection" abstract, "Optimizing Practice Through Research: a new perspective to solve an old problem" has me pondering the concept of reframing as a means to ensure proper perception, recognition and appreciation of Family Docs immeasurable value.

    This issue's "Reflection" abstract, "Optimizing Practice Through Research: a new perspective to solve an old problem" has me pondering the concept of reframing as a means to ensure proper perception, recognition and appreciation of Family Docs immeasurable value.

    Reading Dr Stange's many touch-points in the healing process crying out for Family Docs involvement, methinks reframing would better describe and better position the key role played in patients lives. Instead of MD or PCP, the speciality warrants a new, more empowering designation: WPD: Whole Person Doctor.
